Minimum order quantity for varsity jackets

Sampling & bulk timing

Sample development — min. 1–2 weeks
Sample development takes a minimum of 1–2 weeks. Treat this as a planning minimum, not a fixed delivery promise — complexity and revisions extend it.
Bulk production — depends on quantity
Bulk production timing depends on quantity and project scope. We quote a range per project once specification and quantity are confirmed — no generic lead time is published.

How is pricing for varsity jackets determined?

Every order is quoted itemized once the specification and quantity are confirmed — there is no fixed price list for custom production. Five inputs set the unit price:

  • Quantity band — larger runs spread setup (patterns, screens, embroidery digitising) across more units.
  • Fabric and weight — fibre composition and GSM; stock colours cost less than custom-dyed lots.
  • Decoration — number of methods, colours and placements per garment.
  • Trims, labels and packaging — woven labels, hangtags, polybags or retail-ready packing.
  • Shipping terms and destination — quoted per route once the delivery address is known.

How do ordering, payment and shipping work?

  • 03 Quote — Itemized quotation with the production range for your quantity.
  • 06 Bulk production — Cutting, sewing, decoration, finishing.
  • 07 Quality control — Inline checks and final inspection against the approved sample.
  • 08 Shipment — Export-ready cartons, documents, tracking.

Deposit, payment schedule and shipping terms (Incoterms) are agreed per order and stated in the quotation. Shipments leave as export-ready cartons with commercial documentation and tracking.

How varsity jackets production works

  1. 01Tech pack or idea — Send a tech pack, sketch or reference. A technical reviewer checks manufacturability and returns an itemized quote.
  2. 02Sample — A development sample in a minimum of 1–2 weeks, photographed and shipped. You approve a stitched sample, not a mock-up.
  3. 03Production — Bulk is cut, sewn, decorated and inspected against the approved sample. Timing is quoted per project; shipments leave export-ready with documents.

Varsity Jackets: manufacturing FAQ

Can you produce varsity jackets with leather sleeves?

Yes. The body is wool-blend melton and the sleeves can be PU or genuine leather. Genuine leather runs through our leather program, and its timing is quoted per project.

Can you make chenille letters and patches?

Yes. Chenille, embroidered, PVC and woven patches are available. Embroidery and patch work run at vetted partner units, with proofing and sample approval managed in-house. Send your artwork with sizes and placements.

Is there an extra minimum for striped ribbing?

Custom-knit striped ribbing is produced per colour combination and may carry a knitting minimum, which we state in the quote. Stock rib colours avoid it.

What is the minimum order for varsity jackets?

25 units per order, split across sizes as you need. Body colour, sleeve material, ribbing and decoration are confirmed during the RFQ.

How long does a varsity jacket sample take?

Plan for at least 1–2 weeks for sample development; that is a planning minimum, not a promise. Leather sleeves and custom chenille can add time, which we state once your design is reviewed. Bulk timing depends on quantity and is quoted per project.
