What sportswear brands usually need

Sportswear brands need fabrics that do what the label says, decoration that stays in place through wear, and sizing that repeats from one season to the next, so a reorder fits like the last one.

Colour needs more care than usual in sportswear, because a brand or club colour has to match across a jacket, a polo and a tee made from different fabrics. Different fibres take dye differently, so colour is approved against a Pantone reference on each fabric rather than assumed to match.

Our product pages specify four families for sportswear programs: tracksuits, windbreakers, polo shirts and T-shirts. Cutting, sewing and finishing run in-house; embroidery, screen print, heat transfer and sublimation run at vetted partner units, with proofing and sample approval managed in-house.

Performance claims, fit tolerances and colour

The usual worries are fabric performance claims, fit tolerances and colour matching. Our answer is a materials library with stated GSM and composition, Pantone-referenced colour approval, and measurement-sheet driven grading.

In practice: for polo shirts, moisture-wicking polyester and poly/elastane piqué are stocked, and if you send your performance requirements we confirm the fabric test data rather than repeat a generic claim. Windbreakers are water-repellent (DWR) as standard, not waterproof; coated and seam-taped constructions are available when you specify the performance level in your RFQ. Tracksuit jackets and pants are cut from the same fabric lot so the set matches in shade. Bulk gets inline measurement checks and a final inspection against the approved sample.

Product families for a sportswear range

Each product page carries the full specification. Shorts in polyester mesh, fleece and French terry are also available. These are the families sportswear brands usually build programs from:

  • Tracksuits: matched jacket-and-pant sets in fleece from 320 to 400 GSM, French terry and polyester tricot, with custom zippers, pullers and piping.
  • Windbreakers: nylon taslan, polyester microfiber and ripstop shells with a DWR finish, mesh or taffeta linings and packable options.
  • Polo shirts: cotton piqué from 200 to 240 GSM and performance polyester, with contrast tipping and custom plackets.
  • T-shirts: combed cotton and cotton/polyester blends from 160 to 240 GSM, in stock colours or Pantone-matched dyeing.

How a first order works, from 25 units

The minimum is 25 units per order, split across sizes as you need; tracksuits count as sets or as separate jacket and pant quantities within one run. Custom-coated or custom-dyed shell fabric and custom-knit collar tipping can carry a mill or supplier minimum, which the quote states.

If you are moving an existing range, a reference garment and its measurement sheet are the quickest starting point: we sample against them, and differences in fabric or fit are raised before you approve.

  1. Send your tech pack or measurement sheet, fabric requirements and Pantone references with your RFQ. You receive an acknowledgement with a reference ID, then a technical reviewer replies.
  2. We propose fabrics with stated GSM and composition, confirm test data where you set performance requirements, and the quote states the timing for your quantity.
  3. Sample development takes a minimum of 1–2 weeks. You approve fit, colour and decoration on the sample.
  4. Bulk is graded from your measurement sheet, checked inline and inspected against the approved sample before packing.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer moisture-wicking fabrics?

For polo shirts, moisture-wicking polyester and poly/elastane piqué are stocked. Send your performance requirements and we confirm the fabric test data before you approve. For other garments, state the requirement in your RFQ.

Are your windbreakers waterproof?

Standard programs are water-repellent (DWR), not waterproof. Coated and seam-taped constructions are available; specify the performance level in your RFQ.

How do you keep sizes consistent across seasons?

Grading follows your measurement sheet, and the approved sample locks the specification. A reorder is made to the same measurement sheet and inspected against the approved sample.

Can tracksuit jackets and pants be ordered in different quantities?

Yes, within the same production run. We cut both from one fabric lot and pack them in your ratio.
