Why Sialkot for leather garments
Sialkot, in Pakistan's Punjab province, is widely known as an export manufacturing city for leather garments, gloves, motorcycle clothing and sports goods. The skills these products need — hide grading, leather cutting, heavy-machine sewing and pattern work for curved panels — are concentrated in one place, alongside trim and hardware suppliers.
Our factory is part of that cluster. Cutting, sewing and finishing run in-house on 10 sewing lines, with vetted subcontract lines added per project when an order needs them. We ship to buyers in Europe, the UK and the US, and the full factory address is shared during the RFQ.
Leather, construction and hardware
The leather depends on the garment. What each product page states is what we quote against; anything else is agreed per program and stated in the quote. Vegetable-tanned or chrome-free leather is available on request with tannery documentation — state it in your RFQ.
Leather is cut hide by hide. Hides are graded and shade-sorted before cutting so the panels in one garment match, and for suede we also match nap direction. That is why per-unit cost reflects hide grading and cutting yield rather than batch size.
Linings are agreed per style: viscose, satin or quilted in jackets; unlined, half-lined or fully lined in pants; jersey- or fleece-lined hoods on leather hoodies. Hardware covers custom snaps and buckles on leather jackets, custom-finished or engraved snaps, buttons and zips on suede jackets, and drawcords with metal tips on hoodies. Decoration includes embossing or debossing, perforation, panel colour-blocking and, on suede, fringe and laser-cut details.
- Leather jackets: cowhide at 1.1–1.3 mm, sheep nappa at 0.8–1.0 mm, goat suede or PU; aniline, semi-aniline, waxed or distressed finishes.
- Leather pants: lamb or sheep nappa, cowhide or PU; thickness, finish and colour confirmed during the RFQ.
- Leather hoodies: lamb or sheep nappa or PU, with suede options; aniline, semi-aniline, waxed or washed finishes.
- Suede jackets: goat suede, cow split suede, sheep suede or microsuede; natural nap or brushed, water-repellent treatment on request.
- Riding jackets and motorbike suits and trousers: cowhide or goat leather, thickness agreed per program and stated in the quote.
- Gloves: goat or cowhide leather with synthetic suede palms and textile or stretch backhand panels.
Protective riding gear: confirmed per RFQ, never assumed
Riding jackets, motorbike suits and trousers are built with pockets for shoulder, elbow and back armour, plus knee armour on suits and trousers; the armour and its rating are confirmed per order. On gloves, knuckle protection is specified per order. We do not claim CE certification or any protective standard by default.
As general background: in Europe, motorcycle garments are commonly assessed under EN 17092, which sorts them into classes AAA, AA, A, B and C; impact protectors fall under EN 1621 and motorcycle gloves under EN 13594. Whether a product can meet a standard depends on the materials, armour and testing chosen for the program. State the standard your market requires in the RFQ and we confirm what can be supported before quoting.
Fashion leather — jackets, pants, hoodies and suede — is not protective clothing and is not sold as such.
How a first order works from 25 units
The minimum is 25 units per order, split across sizes as you need. A first leather order runs like this:
- Send your RFQ with a tech pack, reference garment or photos, the leather and finish you want, and quantities by size. You receive an acknowledgement with a reference ID, then a technical reviewer replies.
- Leather type, thickness, finish, colour, lining and hardware are confirmed and quoted. If custom-coloured leather carries a tannery minimum, it is stated in the quote.
- Sample development takes a minimum of 1–2 weeks as a planning figure, not a promise. Natural variation in the hide is shown on the approved sample.
- Bulk timing depends on quantity and is quoted per project.
- Quality is checked at three gates: inbound materials, inline during sewing, and final inspection against the approved sample.

Frequently asked questions
Do you make genuine leather and PU leather garments?
Yes. Jackets, pants and hoodies are quoted in genuine leather or PU alternatives. Ask for both options in the RFQ if you want to compare.
What leather thickness do you use?
Leather jackets are made in cowhide at 1.1–1.3 mm or sheep nappa at 0.8–1.0 mm. For pants, riding jackets and motorbike suits and trousers, thickness is agreed per program and stated in the quote.
What is the minimum order for leather garments?
25 units per order, split across sizes as you need. Leather is cut hide by hide, so per-unit cost reflects hide grading and cutting yield rather than a large batch.
How do you keep leather colour consistent across an order?
Hides are graded and shade-sorted before cutting, and the panels for each garment come from matched hides. Natural variation remains — we show it on the approved sample.
Are your motorcycle jackets and gloves CE-certified?
We do not claim certification by default. It depends on the materials, armour and testing chosen for your program. State the standard your market requires, such as EN 17092 or EN 13594, in the RFQ and we confirm what can be supported before quoting.
