What retail buyers usually need
As a retailer you sell under your own label, so the garment has to look and fit the same every time it comes back into stock. Sizing, label placement and packing all need to match the previous delivery.
A typical retail program covers a small range of core styles, each with its own size curve, with replenishment orders following once a style sells.
If the range has to sit alongside stock you already sell, a reference garment from your current range is a useful starting point for fit and finish.
- Private-label finishing: woven, printed or tagless labels, care labels and hangtags
- Consistent grading across the size range
- Packing that suits your stores, such as polybagged, folded or on hangers
- A clear path from first order to replenishment
Labelling, replenishment and shade consistency
Labelling: we support labelling for your market. Requirements differ by market; in the EU, for example, textile products must carry fibre composition labelling. You confirm the wording your market requires, and we produce and place the labels to your spec.
Replenishment: each style gets a locked spec sheet once the sample is approved. Repeat orders follow from that approved sample, so later deliveries are built to the same measurements, fabric and trims as the first.
Shade: colour is approved against a reference before bulk, and fabric is checked for shade when it arrives. A new fabric lot can vary slightly, which is why final inspection checks bulk against the approved sample before packing. Items that must match each other exactly are best ordered in the same run, so they are cut from one lot.
Products that suit retail ranges
These product pages cover the garments retailers most often build private-label ranges around.
Fabric weight and composition are stated before you approve the sample, so the product details on your shelf or webshop match what arrives.
- T-shirts: 160–240 GSM, regular, oversized and boxy fits or a custom fit from your tech pack, sizes XS–5XL, with woven, printed, tearaway or tagless heat-transfer labels.
- Polo shirts: piqué or jersey, classic and slim fits, ladies' cuts from graded specs, with woven main label, care label and hangtag.
- Hoodies: 280–450 GSM fleece and French terry, pullover and zip-up hoodies and crewneck sweatshirts, sizes XS–4XL.
- Trousers: chinos, joggers, cargo and formal trousers, numeric 28–44 or alpha sizing, folded or hanger packed.
How ordering and repeat orders work
The minimum is 25 units per order, split across sizes, so smaller replenishment orders stay practical. Custom-dyed fabric may carry a mill minimum, which is stated in the quote.
- Send an RFQ with your styles, size curve, label artwork and packing needs. A tech pack or reference garment helps.
- You get an acknowledgement with a reference ID, then a technical reviewer replies. The quote states production timing for the project.
- A sample is developed for your approval. Plan for a minimum of 1–2 weeks.
- On approval the spec sheet is locked, and bulk is cut, sewn and finished in-house with QC at inbound, inline and final stages.
- For replenishment, you send quantities per size against the approved style, produced to the same locked spec.
Frequently asked questions
Can you sew our own brand labels into the garments?
Yes. Woven, printed, tearaway and tagless heat-transfer labels are available, along with care labels and hangtags. Label artwork and placement are agreed before bulk.
Do you know the labelling rules for our market?
We support labelling for your market, but you confirm the legally required content, such as fibre composition and care information. We then produce and place the labels to that spec.
Can we reorder a style that sold well?
Yes. Every approved style has a locked spec sheet, and repeat orders are made from the approved sample. Send quantities per size; the minimum is still 25 units per order.
Will colours match between deliveries?
Colour is approved against a reference before bulk, and each fabric lot is checked for shade on arrival. Different lots can vary slightly, so items that must match exactly should be produced in the same run.
