What fashion brands usually need from a manufacturer

A collection is planned months before it ships, and the factory has to fit that plan. Most fashion brands need help with collection planning, private-label finishing, consistency from the approved sample to bulk, and a way to reorder a style without starting from scratch.

In practice that means turning your tech pack or reference garment into a sample, a fit you can sign off, your own labels, hangtags and packaging, and a bulk run that matches what you approved. Cutting, sewing and finishing run in-house on our 10 sewing lines, with vetted subcontract lines added per project when an order needs them.

Brands also want a factory that can grow with a style: a first order from 25 units, then larger repeat runs once it sells, made to the same approved specification.

Shade, fit and communication: how we handle the usual worries

The worries tend to be the same: shade and fit drifting between sample and bulk or between seasons, gaps in communication, and late delivery. Once you approve a sample, its specification is locked and bulk is checked against it. Your account has a named contact, so questions about the order go to one person who knows it. Repeat orders follow a documented process, so a reorder starts from the approved specification rather than from memory.

Quality runs through three gates: inbound inspection of fabric and trims, inline checks on the sewing lines, and a final inspection against the approved sample before packing. We do not publish lead times. Bulk timing depends on quantity and is stated in your quote, so you plan the collection around timing given for your order rather than a generic promise.

Product families that fit a fashion collection

Each product page carries the full specification. These are the families fashion brands usually start with; bomber jackets, tank tops, shorts and jeans are also available, and every style is sampled and approved before bulk.

  • T-shirts: cut-and-sew and blank-plus-decoration programs from 160 to 240 GSM, in regular, oversized, boxy or custom fits from your tech pack.
  • Hoodies: brushed fleece and loopback French terry from 280 to 450 GSM, with enzyme wash, garment dye and vintage wash options.
  • Leather jackets: genuine and PU leather in biker, café racer, bomber and blazer silhouettes, with hides graded and shade-sorted before cutting.
  • Trousers: chinos, joggers, cargo and formal trousers, with pattern-room support for fit development and graded size sets.

How a first order works, from 25 units

The minimum is 25 units per order, split across sizes as you need. Stock fabric colours keep a first order simple; custom-dyed fabric carries a mill dye-lot minimum that we state in the quote rather than publish as a rule.

  1. Send your tech pack or a reference garment with your RFQ. You receive an acknowledgement with a reference ID, then a technical reviewer replies.
  2. Fabric, colour, decoration and labels are confirmed during the RFQ, and the quote states the timing for your quantity.
  3. Sample development takes a minimum of 1–2 weeks. You review fit, fabric and finish, and we revise until you approve.
  4. The approved sample locks the specification. Bulk is cut, sewn and finished in-house; embroidery and print run at vetted partner units, with proofing managed in-house.
  5. Final inspection against the approved sample, then packing to your specification for export.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for a fashion brand?

25 units per order, split across sizes as you need. Custom-dyed fabric, garment dyeing and custom-knit trims can carry their own batch or mill minimum, which we state in the quote rather than publish as a rule.

How do you keep a reorder consistent with the first run?

The approved sample locks the specification, and repeat orders follow a documented process that starts from it. Each new fabric lot is checked at inbound inspection, and the final inspection is made against the approved sample.

Who do I talk to during production?

Your account has a named contact, so questions about your order go to one person who knows it. Technical questions are handled by the reviewer working on your project.

Can you work with our own labels and packaging?

Yes. Private-label finishing covers woven, printed or tagless heat-transfer labels, hangtags and packaging options. The exact configuration is confirmed during the RFQ.
